Rebuilding essential weather services

 

In 2015-16 I led a team of 20 at TAB to deliver a new public-facing weather app for the Met Office. The app provides weather forecasts, severe weather warnings and weather alerts. The product launched in January 2016 and has seen a regular cadence of iterations and updates ever since. The iPhone app can be downloaded from the App Store here.   • New revenue stream for Met Office with freemium model

  • Introduced and embedded an Agile, customer-centric approach at Met Office
