In 2014 I led a 16-person team at TAB to build and launch Sun+ Goals for News UK (then News International), the first place to see every Barclay’s Premier League goal from every game on your smartphone or tablet. The best-in-class sports app let fans see all the latest goals and highlights, up-to-the-minute breaking football news, live scores, fixtures, analysis and more.

Sun+ Goals was downloaded >400,000 times, creating over 250,000 new digital subscribers and bringing in sizeable revenue for News UK. Sun+ Goals launched for the 2014-15 season and was live for three football seasons, serving the full length of the exclusive rights deal secured by News UK.
